All Kynar coatings contain Fluoropolymer resin-chemically inert, to protect your building from the environment stresses around it. Kynar finishes over chrome resist dirt pickup, chalking, fading, and UV degradation. Exposed to salt spray from coastal environments, Kynar coatings over Chrome will not whiten or pit, and will not degrade when exposed to the alkali on a construction site. Mineral acids and detergents will not stain Kynar finishes. Adhesion, film integrity and flexibility are excellent: the Kynar film resists chipping, cracking, crazing, erosion, abrasion, and impact. Kynar over Chrome Phosphate pretreatment and primer exceeds all the requirements of AAMA 2605 "Voluntary Specification for High Performance Organic Coatings on Architectural Extrusions and Panels".
